To improve the economy through agri-aqua development, promotion of tourism, business enterprises, protection and conservation of natural resources and provision of quality public service.

DEVELOPMENT GOALS

In the next THREE (3) years, the Municipality of Cantilan will strive to achieve the following goals:

 

SOCIAL SERVICES DEVELOPMENT

  1. Mahimsug na Panglawas sa Tanan Cantilangnon
  2. Quality Education for all Educational level
  3. Provide humanitarian assistance to families in crisis and emergency situations that intend to minimize or reduce the helplessness and suffering of individuals or families and communities.
  4. Highly capable, effective and credible Police Service through the active support of the community, along with the protection and promotion of Agri-industrial product of the Cantilangnons
  5. High quality service and zero casulaties in times of calamities and other emergencies

 

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

  1. Increased RICE yield and farmer’s income
  2. Promote eco-tourism in coastal resource management
  3. Increased CPUE (for capture) and fish production yield (aquaculture)
  4. Business friendly LGU
  5. Increase Resource Mobilization
  6. Local Revenue Resource Mobilization

 

ENVIRONMENT MANAGEMENT            

  1. Cluster SLF established and operational
  2. Responsive SWM implementation
  3. Improved facility (MRF/RCA)
  4. Well-conditioned garbage compactors and other equipment
  5. Active involvement and strong collaboration with other agencies

 

 INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT

  1. Ensure a disaster resilient infrastructure facility in support to agri-tourism & economic development
  2. To support economic, social, and environmental management infrastructures

 

INSTITUTIONAL DEVELOPMENT

  1. Acquisition of skills and knowledge through Learning and Development Competent personnel and staff to increase revenues Serbisyo publiko
  2. Strengthening partnerships among industry players & stakeholders for matching of industry needs to local resources
  3. Established Zoning Administration System in LGU.
