This year’s observance carries the theme, “Kalayaan, Kinabukasan, Kasaysayan”.

 

Mayor Philip A. Pichay leads the flag raising and wreath laying ceremony during the celebration of the 125th Independence Day of the Philippines with the Members of the Sangguniang Bayan, Barangay Captains, Department Heads, DepEd, PNP, BFP, BJMP, and the Local Government Employees at the Cantilan Town Plaza.

 

June 12 marks the 125th year of Philippines independence, a testament to how Filipinos valiantly fought for democracy and recognition from oppressors throughout the centuries.
